AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): Allegation on husband of physical torture reported in Rajnagar area under PR Bari PS under Belonia Rajnagar block.

The housewife has been identified as Jharna Debnath, mother of two daughters is victim of domestic violence. It is learned that Jharna Debnath, a resident of Nalua Abhaynagar, got married with Biplab Debnath, a resident of Rajnagar area of Belonia Rajnagar block in 2009, March.

After getting married first few years, their relation were going smoothly, but after a certain time the husband, Biplab started Physical torture on her wife, Jharna. It was alleged the torture level has grew up after their second daughter was born.

Also it was alleged the criminal Husband, Biplab tortured her in an alcoholic state and no one from her in-laws members came forward to save her. Instead of saving from domestic violence, Biplab’s family was allegedly always provoking him to torture the wife.

In addition, the husband started pressuring her to bring money from her father's house. The tortured housewife also alleged her husband had tried to kill her by wrapping a towel around her neck.

Unable to bear her husband's torture, the victim housewife filed a case against her husband at PR Bari PS in Belonia Rajnagar block on Tuesday.
