PANISAGAR, May 4 (TIWN): A chaos created in North Tripura's Panisagar after Covid patients came out of Covid centre alleging poor management inside the Care centre. At first they were in protest inside the hall but soon all of them came out of the centre. More than 50 patients are under treatment in this Care Centre. Centering a patient's death, who was referred from another Centre and his dead body which was not being taken in time, the other patients lost patience and came out of the Covid centre. Police, Local Administration tried to control the situation at their best and after hours of arguments, consolations at last the patients agreed to go inside the centre. Police, Doctors and administrative team jointly convinced the patients to hold their patience and to go inside the Covid centre. Situation then came under control.
Reportedly, a Covid patient died on yesterday night 3 am but till morning the body was not taken away.
This turned the epicenter of anger among the patients. Then, along with other allegations of untimely meals, poor quality food etc the Covid patients staged protest.
