AGARTALA, May 2 (TIWN): A girl has been kidnapped, allegedly raped and murdered in the state Tripura.

This incident took place at Rangring Gram Panchayat's Kashibagan area, Kaliashahar subdivision. 

The victim, like everyday, went to collect wood for her house but on that day, she did not return. Even after complaining to the local women police station, no action was taken properly, alleged family and locals.

On Friday morning locals started searching her across the area and then her body was found murdered. Her shoes, woods were thrown at 1 metre distance.
