After winning the Assembly Election local IPFT leaders South Charilam allegedly taken an old man’s rubber plot

AGARTALA, April 30(TIWN): After winning 2018 Assembly Election IPFT leaders forcibly occupied a poor man's rubber plantation for the past three years, allegedly. Even after informing local leaders and Police Station no action has been taken against the leaders.

Talking to the rubber garden’s owner, Tapan Poddar it is known, leaders of the IPFT have been forcibly occupying the rubber plantation in South Charilam village for the past three years.

The owner, Tapan Podder purchased this plot in 2005 and from 2007 he started rubber plantations in his 18 acres plot.

It is reported that after winning the Assembly election On March 3, 2018 IPFT leaders allegedly removed him from his own garden. He was allegedly stopped from entering his own rubber plantation field with sticks by IPFT leaders.

Though it is a tribal area, the plot was sold by writing on stamp paper, the owner, Tapan, also has legal documents that he is the owner of the plot. However, the IPFT leaders are not allowing him to enter in his own garden.

Tapan has complained to many leaders of the village committee and also informed the administration but nothing has happened.

The allegation raised on Chandramani Debbarma, Swapan Debbarma, Lakkhan Debbarma, Nani Debbarma and Sunil Debbarma are the five IPFT leaders in Guli Rai Bari area, who have been forcibly taken Tapan Poddar's rubber plantation for last three years.

Almost 70- 80 thousand rupees is earned every month from rubber garden but not a single penny is added to the fate of innocent Tapan Poddar since the past three years. After failing everywhere, Tapan Poddar finally took Media’s help and exposed IPFT leaders' names to the media.
