AGARTALA, April 29 (TIWN): On Wednesday night, a housewife, Pratima Debnath and her husband, Biswajit Debnath had an argument over family issues. Later, Biswajit's wife Pratima Debnath took lots of birth control pills. When the family came to know that the housewife Pratima took birth control pills, immediately she was brought to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital.

After primary treatment, the on-duty Doctors at Bishalgarh Hospital referred the housewife to TMC for better treatment.

But the housewife’s family members allegedly beaten up her husband Biswajit and her father-in-law Swapan Debnath and also threatened them to murder by showing a knife.

The woman is currently undergoing treatment at Hapania Hospital and she is out of danger. Her in-laws complained that they would file a case to police.
