AGARTALA, April 29 (TIWN): Scorching summer has hit Tripura and neighboring areas. However, the Weather Dept has predicted rain in the next 2 days in Tripura.
Talking to the media, D. Saha (Scientist) said, "The dry weather is the result of Western wind which was coming to Tripura. That area is basically dry but now the wind movement has changed and so the temperature which went to 39.2 degree it has decreased to 37 degree C today. Hopefully in the next few days, some rain can be expected".

"In our state Tripura, generally wind comes from the sea side but the wind is coming from Western side which is dry. Now the weather is changing and so the temperature will be expectedly from 35 to 37 degree Celsius", said Saha.
Lack of Water-Vapour has caused this dry weather as the wind was not coming from the sea.
