AGARTALA, April 28 (TIWN): When Tripura Govt out of COVID alerts and pressure from political groups has cancelled all exams including pre-board exams, on the other side, in Meghalaya final Board examination is almost completed and it was done offline. Tomorrow a section of students' exams to be completed whereas on 12th May all exams of Class-12 will be completed. Tripura students who are studying in Shillong have expressed their satisfaction over the well-organized examination procedure. Ahead of the exams started, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong had said the state government has directed the authorities concerned to ensure strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols."The class 12 examinations of the Meghalaya state board will be held as per schedule but with utmost precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19," Tynsong told reporters after a review meeting here. The state government has urged parents not to panic and to allow students to appear for the examinations scheduled to begin on April 16, he said.
TBSE President Bhabotosh Saha said, "The examinations for Madhyamik and HS+2 will be started from 19th May and 18th May. This year total 46,610 students are sitting in Madhyamik examination and total 27,205 students in Higher Secondary examinations"
"Centres for Madhyamik examination are 78, Venue is 162. For HS. Centres are 62 and Venue 90 ".
He said that to increase social distance venues have been increased. All COVID protocols will be followed during the examination period.
