AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): High Court has issued a notice to Govt of Tripura over 10323 teachers' recruitment in Group-D and Group-C posts in case no-WPC C17/2021. After the hearing, on behalf of petitioners, 10323 JMC member Bijoy Krishna Saha said, "It has been a long time that we are requesting the Tripura Govt to recruit us directly in Group-C and Group-D posts as Supreme Court used the word solace for our job recruitments. "Though the Supreme Court asked the State Govt to recruit us directly as a part of 'solace' but Tripura Govt did not agree with the matter and called for an interview in those posts where we were also tied up to sit in exams with unemployed youths. Here the State Govt is giving two types of statements".
"One statement is at the Supreme Court about recruiting us in posts which are given in Group-D and Group-C and now even after the Supreme Court's order, separate actions are being taken. So basically to clarify the issue and to get our rights, this petition was filed", said Saha.
"As the case is under Court's observation, we will not make any comment on that but Tripura Govt is asked to reply on the notice within 4 weeks.............", said Bijoy Krishna Saha.
10323 teachers said that after today's hearing, they are happy, but nothing can be said before the hearings are completed and judgement is given.
