AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): A car with four shops was burnt to ashes in the sabotage fire. The incident took place on Wednesday late night in the area adjacent to the bank of Muhuri River in Belonia.

The flame of fire was first spotted by the night guard of Bankar Bazar and was informed to the shop owners. It was also informed to fire station, upon receiving the news, the fire brigade personnel rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control, but 4 shops including a car registered No.- TRO1 R1831 were burnt to ashes and nothing could be saved.

Though the damage amount is yet not known but the devastating fire caused extensive damage.

Police arrived at the spot at night and have started investigation.
