AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): Housewife committed suicide by hanged herself at her own house, incident at Chakmaghat Bazar under Teliamura PS. However, her family alleged that she was murdered.

The demise Malati Debnath, wife of Santosh Debnath, resident of Chakmaghat Bazar area under Teliamura police station, committed suicide by hanging herself in her house over family quarrel.

However, the deceased's family alleged that frequent quarrels were occurring between Malati and her husband, Santosh. Also known, the demised, Malti and her son Shakil Debnath lived in the Barman Tila area of Jogendra Nagar in Agartala, though, Malati is Santosh's second wife.

Few days ago Malati and her son visited her husband's house at Chakmaghat.

Meanwhile, the deceased family also alleged that Malati’s son, Shakil often beat his mother to buy bike and also he is addicted to drugs.

On Tuesday, quarrel again occurred between Malati and her husband, Santosh and after waking up on today morning the family found Malati's body was hanging.

The incident was reported to Teliamura PS, but surprisingly the hanging bodies were taken down before the police arrived. Later, the police of Teliamura PS rushed and recovered the body and sent the body to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital’s morgue for autopsy.

Police have taken a case against the unnatural death and truth will come out after police investigation whether it was murdered or suicide.
