AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): Illegal logging trade is swallowing Tripura. Based on secret source Trishna Sanctuary wildlife protection unit Forest officials seized huge amount of illicit wood logs from Belonia, Manurmukh on Tuesday.

Reportedly, on Tuesday after getting information from a secret source Trishna Sanctuary wildlife protection unit Forest officials raided in Belonia, Manurmukh, Tabla Chowmuhani area, and seized huge amounts of Gurjan tree logs. The successful operation was done under the leadership of Forest Officer, Subrata Sen. Later, the wood logs were brought to Joychandpur Trishna Forest Department.  However, forest officials have not yet been able to trace who illegally stored the logs.
