TELIAMURA, April 20 (TIWN): A 60 years old man named Brajendra Debbarma was arrested for allegedly raping a 6 years old girl in 36-Mile area under Atharamura, Mungiakami, Teliamura subdivisions of Tripura.

Based on parents' complaints a case was lodged against the rape accused Case No-011/ MGK dated 19/04/2021 u/s 376(a)(f) ipc.

The little girl was playing near to her home when the old man called her and took her to a nearby forest area.

By that time, the victim's mother was already in search of her and found him red-handed with her daughter. 

Getting informed police rushed to the spot. The accused was absconding. After long searches, he was found at last and was arrested.
