AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): TIPRA Motha Chief, Royal Scion Pradyot Manikya on the day of oath taking has said that he expects performance from the council members now as election is over.

"Govt has to perform for development and it should be personal oriented. So I expect the council members to perform........", said Pradyot Manikya.

On being asked by media, what will be the primary focus of the Tipra Motha led administration, Pradyot Manikya said that Education, Health, Land Revenue, Water, Sanitation will be first priority of the Govt there.

Reacting over BJP's boycotting of oath taking alleging post poll violence, Pradyot Manikya said that he does not want to go to any political fight with any party but he just want to focus on development and the affected families will be compensated as per announcement.

Pradyot Manikya also confirms that the white paper will be implemented soon where funding and expenditure will be transparent.
