AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): During nights, the office premises of the Animal Resources Development Department at Teliamura Korilong becomes an open platform for drug addicts, claimed office staff.

The doctor in charge of the office, Nazma Khatun, claimed that every day before opening the dispensary door, the staff has to clean liquor bottles and glasses. She also alleged that in February, some miscreants broke the lock of the back door of the dispensary and took various items including medicine. The matter was then reported to Teliamura PS and GD entry was also made yet the police showed no interest in this regard on the contrary the nuisance of drug addicts is constantly increasing.

 Taking on media, the doctor showed extreme displeasure about the nasty atmosphere of the office and assured to take the matter once again to the concerned police station.
