AGARTALA, March 21(TIWN): Murders, rape attacks, political clashes, attacks on women have become a part of daily incidents in New Tripura. Biplab’s “Srestha Tripura'' has turned into a horrible situation, safety remains no more for women in Tripura, a 55 year old woman was injured after being attacked by miscreants in Ranibazar's Kobra Para area as she was an opposition party supporter. The miscreants have been identified as Jalal Mia, Hriday Mia, Jashim Mia and Uday Mia terribly attacked on the 55 year old woman, Kamona Khatun on Friday. Also, her house was vandalized. Such kind of attack on her is nothing new earlier these goons attacked on her mercilessly 3-4 months before, alleged her family member.

The victim woman is currently undergoing treatment at GB hospital. It was informed to Ranirbazar PS but the police yet not taken any steps, alleged family. The family demanded Police should take strong action against the criminals.
