AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): Bloody clash erupted among BJP and IPFT at Hrishyamukh Manirampur Bazar centering the ADC Poll. BJP alleged that in peaceful meeting of BJP, aligned members of the IPFT party held severe attacks on them unprecedently, but the attackers were not locals but from other areas, came in bikes. Talking to media, a BJP member Shibcharan Tripura said, "We were holding meeting and foods were being arranged for the BJP workers here, but all of a sudden miscreants attacked on us with IPFT flags in hands. Total 40 to 50 persons attacked on the BJP workers and 4 bikes were burnt and more bikes were destroyed. The miscreants entered my home then beaten my wife also".

"IPFT is our aligned partner, Such attacks from them are beyond our imagination. Are they IPFT or goonda-bahini, it is questionable ! We never thought such attacks will come on us from IPFT party as IPFT and BJP are aligned", said Shibcharan Tripura.
