AGARTALA, March 18 (TIWN): At around 7 pm on Wednesday, a gang of miscreants vandalized the car of Mohammad Jewel, son of Nurul Islam of Ward 1 of Ashabari Gram Panchayat. Miscreants first attacked on Jewel and then vandalized his vehicle with bricks and sticks and immediately escaped from the scene.

Briefing to media Jewel said on March 3, his cousin Brother, Tutan Mia informed BSF about the illegal smuggling of attackers and centering this incident enmity started among them. It was alleged behind this brutal attack Farooq Mia, Renu Mia, Masuk Mia, Ruhul Amin, Hossain Mia were involved.

However, immediately after the incident it was informed to the Kalamchoura PS and lodged a complaint. Though, the police started investigating the incident. Centering this terror sparked among locals in the area.
