'Serious Crimes against Women' decreased by 2% in Tripura : Women Commission

AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Tripura Women Commission Chairperson Barnali Goswami on Tuesday has told media that Crime against Women which are specially serious in nature have reduced to 2%
Her statement was based on the annual complaint records which are based on submitted complaints of victims to the Women Commission.
However, she has agreed that the crime against women needs to be reduced further. As per her statement, in the last financial year the complaint submitted total 377 and this year the crime complaint is 348 to the women commission.
