AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): Amid statewide poverty in massive rise, ahead of ADC Poll, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath has just chanted a new slogan. The Minister who earlier promised the terminated 10323 Teachers that before their terminations, Tripura Govt will save their jobs, but could not keep his promise. However, amid lots of pending promises now Ratanlal Nath has given this fresh promise. He said, "Poverty reduction is our Govt's first priority" (earlier he said Education Dept is the first priority). The Education Minister Ratanlal Nath was addressing in his own constituency and has claimed that the poverty level of Tripura has been reduced already and 70% success is also received.Â
"Eating full belly is not development but providing a balanced economy is important", said Ratanlal Nath.
"Our Govt is giving first priority in poverty-reduction. But we have to score 100 in poverty reduction and our score is now 70", said Nath.
