AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): A thief who was running away after stealing cash from a shop, was caught by public in Joynagar, JCP club area.

The shop-keeper went to bathroom when taking this opportunity, the thief had entered the shop and attempted to steal money. But the shop keeper saw him and with help of the public, he was caught. Later police were informed and sent him with police.

However public were seen beating the thief after tying him.
