AGARTALA, Feb 27 (TIWN): While addressing in DYFI, TYF's rally, Tripura former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has accused the the then Supreme Court's bench in 2017 which upheld the High Court's verdict on 10323 teachers' terminations as RSS Bench. Lambasting the BJP and Congress for intriguing against the 10323 teachers, Manik Sarkar said that former Congress leaders who became BJP later are mainly responsible for the 10323 teachers' unexpected fates. "BJP counted that 50000 voters are in 10323 teachers group and thus to get their votes all such intrigues were going on", said Sarkar. In 13,000 posts' recruitment also, the same was done by the BJP and they did everything to stop those recruitments. He added, "Later Supreme Court lifted the restriction over the recruitment but still the Govt is not appointing the terminated teachers in those posts whereas before the Election, to lure the vote banks all types of fake promises were done to the teachers, victimizing them in poll bound state".
