AGARTALA, Feb 26 (TIWN):Rubber plantations burned into ashes, the incident took place in Jharjharia area of Ranirkhamar Vill Panchayat under Amtali PS.

Huge areas of rubber plantations were burnt into ashes on Friday. A local first noticed the fire then it was informed to the land owners. The garden owners rushed to the spot and observed almost all trees burned into ashes.

Upon receiving the news the fire department personnel rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. Though the garden owners and locals suspected the arson was carried out due to hostility.

 Meanwhile, the rubber garden owner said that he will file a case at Amtali PS.

Centering the fire incident in broad daylight tension sparked among locals.
