AGARTALA, Feb 25 (TIWN): After Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb's bizarre statements over HARVARD University location and his claim on Home Minister Amit Shah's plans to expand BJP Govt in Nepal and Sri Lanka, Tripura Chief Minister was scolded by Central BJP and was restricted from doing Facebook live. TIWN published that news also that Central BJP had asked Biplab Deb to stop Facebook Live and from then, Deb is doing live everyday but only when he does not speak. During speeches, there are no live videos. Lot of cutting, joining, trimming are understood from the videos. After Biplab Deb's nonsense statements like Home Minister Amit Shah's Govt formation plans in Nepal and Sri Lanka, massive embarrassment was received by the BJP Govt at Centre and opposition called Biplab Deb's statement a diplomatic blunder for India, sought apology from Deb.

Amid majority of the BJP MLAs demand a replacement of Biplab Deb from CM post, RSS, BJP top leaders have already visited Tripura and met Biplab Deb. On February 20, CM was summoned in Governor house.

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb who is nationally known for all wrong reasons, MEMEs, gaffes has consistently damaging BJP"s image nationally, which is affecting BJP's image in other states.

After Biplab Deb's latest controversial remark which has affected India's foreign ties with Sri Lanka and Nepal, BJP's Northeast State BJP General Secretary Ajay Jamwal had rushed to Tripura. His visit was unscheduled and without any welcoming programmes.

But when Biplab Deb controversial statement is on discussion about neighboring countries, Deb delivered another gaffe at Tripura University saying that Harvard University is located in London.
Such incidents are happened when majority of the BJP MLAs sought a replacement of Biplab Deb in the CM post, who has divided the Govt and the Party due to his poor experience and arrogant style of operating everything.
On the other side, the ruling Nepal Communist Party and the main opposition Nepali Congress criticised Shah’s purported comment, asserting that it amounted to undermining Nepal’s sovereignty. Nepal Foreign Affairs Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali on Tuesday said the government has noted the media reports, and “formal objections conveyed to the government of India”. Foreign ministry sources said Nepal’s ambassador to India Nilambar Acharya lodged formal objections.
Nepal has termed Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb's statement "Unfortunate" where he claimed 'Amit Shah wants BJP's rule over Nepal, Sri Lanka'. Opposition Congress has said, Biplab Deb's may result in 'Diplomatic Blunder' as it can ruin foreign relations. However, within 48 hours of Biplab Deb's remark becoming a viral news, both Sri Lanka and Nepal have raised concerns.
Sri Lanka's Election Commission Chairman Nimal Punchihewa put objection to the statement of Biplab Deb saying, "Any Sri Lankan political party or group is permitted to have external links with any party or group overseas. But our electoral laws do not permit overseas political parties to work here". Nepal has called the Statement "Unfortunate".
