AGARTALA, Feb 24 (TIWN): In a bizzare turn of political development in Tripura, long running secret honeymoon between BJP CM Biplab Deb & CPI-M State Secretary Goutam Das via Goutam Das's relative OSD Dilip Roy was exposed recently as CM Biplab Deb appointed his close BJP Lawyer cum Special PP (Public Prosecutor) Ratan Datta to defend Goutam Das in Judicial Magistrate 1st Classs Justice Ayan Roy Chowdhury's Court.

Case Number CR-373 / 2017, a defamation case was filed by Goutam Das in 2017 via his that time Lawyer PP (Public Prosecutor) Luftkar Khadim against TIWN Editor Saumen Sarkar for publishing news on Goutam Das's involvements after CBI interrogated Goutam Das in 2017 in connection to Tripura's Rose Valley Chit Fund Scam, where Rose Valley Chit Fund Scam cheated  over Rs 800 crores fund from public. 

However under Goutam Das's advise, previous Lawyer Khadim was replaced by Biplab Deb's close BJP Lawyer Ratan Datta, that too at Govt expense. So, basically BJP Govt under Biplab Deb is funding for CPI-M State Secretary Goutam Das for his personal Legal costs.

CPI-M State Secretary Goutam Das's relative Dilip Roy was hand-picked by Biplab Deb to become Chief Minister's OSD (Officer on Special Duty) who himself is marred into various corruptions. 

OSD Dilip Roy functions as bridge to bond close relations between Goutam Das & Biplab Deb so that both Goutam Das & Biplab Deb maintain good working relations - typical example is Goutam Das's oppostite camp Leaders in CPI-M like Badal Chowdhury, Jiten Chowdhury, Pabitra Kar who are strongly against Biplab Deb, so Biplab always took illegal actions like locking Badal Chowdhury in Prison for 3 months in a false case of PWD corruption where Police even failed to file chargesheet, next is false cases against Jiten Chowdhury, followed by hooligan attacks on Pabitra Kar's home. Rather than supporting Pabitra Kar after attacks on his home, Goutam Das removed Pabitra Kar from West Tripura District Secretary's Post. 

Biplab Deb will never touch or harrass Goutam Das, neither Goutam Das will take any actions or allow other CPI-M leaders activities which will harm Biplab Deb.

CPI-M State Secretary Goutam Das's personal defamation case against TIWN Editor Saumen Sarkar now being funded by Biplab Deb, not only that Biplab Deb has chosen his top favorite BJP's Lawyer cum Special PP Ratan Datta.

In Tripura's Political History, it's a bizarre phenomena that a BJP CM is funding his opposition party CPI-M State Secretary's Legal Costs, selecting a BJP Lawyer for secret political understandings.
