AGARTALA, Feb 23 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb who did not get any public attention during his Bengal campaigning, was interacting with media while going to attend a lunch programme. Addressing there, Biplab Deb claimed that Crime Rate of Tripura is less than West Bengal and Per capita income is higher than West Bengal. However, Deb did not talk about the unemployment rate of his state, as after Jammu and Kashmir it is Tripura which is holding the highest unemployment rate in India as per CMIE Data. Deb further claimed that in last 3 years, the agricultural sector has highest developed and farmers' conditions are tremendously hiked to progress in Tripura but West Bengal is holding syndicate-raj. The syndicate-raj was mentioned massive BJP's money extortion, threats have suffocated public lives.
It can be mentioned here that from benefiting relatives in ICAT's Govt posts to give double liquor license to relative, Tripura CM's nepotism had been always in criticism amid his Dept's various scams and reports of direct recruitment without interview in various sectors including sports association.
But the resentment of people went highest as his Govt has drastically failed to curb unemployment and the termination rates have surpassed the recruitment rates.
On March 3rd, BJP will complete 3 years of its rule in Tripura and the deadline to be ended for "Model State" Vision which was promised by CM Biplab Deb in national media. Later he said, he will hold a press meet in Delhi and will tell the nation about his model state's plan.
Biplab Deb at West Bengal claimed that under BJP rule, Tripura got a "Hira" in developmental scale.
