Agartala,Aug 26,(TIWN) The state’s famous ‘Rakhal Shield Football’ tournament was inaugurated on last Sunday.

The first match was played between Jewels Association and Birendra Club. Kamalesh Pal, President of the Tripura Football Association (TFA) hoisted the TFA flag and then the match started. In the inaugural match of the tournament, Jewels won the match by a margin of 4-0.

Nine Bullets and Lal Bahadur Club clashed on Monday and the later won by 2-0.
