Alarming rise in theft cases in Tripura under Biplab Deb Govt

AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): Since 2018, the theft cases rates have drastically gone higher in Tripura. Thieves are not even sparing temples and other religious places.
As per Tripura Police's crime data, in 2015 - 275, in 2016 - 243, in 2017 - 272 theft cases were recorded whereas in 2018 total theft cases were 371, in 2019 - 502 and in 2020 - 353.
However, police claimed only 4 robberies happened whereas so many broad daylight robberies / snatching took place in the capital city Agartala.
