UDAIPUR, December 7 (TIWN): People of Maharani near Hirapur barrage were surprised as some youths from this area recovered a 20ft long python from a jungle last night. It was around 8pm when some youths were squatting in a road that went across the forest . Suddenly the youths heard the sound of something mysterious. Out of curiosity they went to see what the sound was about. But they were stunned to see that it was actually python.

All of a sudden they raised an hue and cry. More people gathered there. And after 30minutes struggle they succeeded to catch the python. It was almost 20ft long. 
At night they kept the python with them. On Sunday when the dawn broke local people informed Divisional Forest Office. At once a team of forest officials went to the place and the youths handed the python over to the officials. It was sent to Sipahijala Natural Sanctuary . However, as the news spread hundreds of people gathered there to have an look at it.
