AGARTALA, Jan 27 (TIWN): Condemning the barbaric role of Biplab Deb’s uncivilized Government 10323 teacher Dalia Das said “We were supposed to meet the Chief Minister but before that our ugly CM himself sent police and disrupted our movement which we were carrying out democratically for 51 days. In the morning the police came and broke our stage, dragged women and children out tore the clothes of female teachers and took them to the car. Are they police or thugs?”

“Our donation boxes and food items were looted. The police surrounded us and threw stones and bricks at us. 41 teachers have been seriously injured. The tear gas canister caused severe breathing problems to the protestors and several teachers fainted on the ground. We have never seen such dirty behavior of the government before. Our colleague Rinku Sarkar is now fighting to the death due to the brutal act of police today. A group of 7-8 policemen threw a female teacher on ground and beaten her viciously.” She added.
