AGARTALA, Jan 19 (TIWN): After the fake promises of 2018 Election of BJP exposed from 50,000 Govt jobs in first one year to changing a portion of the constitution for the 10323 teachers, now Tripura Govt playing a role of a "deaf" Govt, although, what can the Govt do after making fake promises in the election which is bare and open now ? However, the teachers under JMC have continued their protests on 44 days as they have strong legal grounds to get back their jobs and Education Dept has failed to answer to the teachers queries on the legal issues which shows, the teachers never lost jobs. Sources informed the teachers are preparing massive protest in the coming day, which will remain as the biggest protest. Already, the teachers protest has marked as the longest protest in Tripura's history. The 10,323 teachers have claimed that they never lost their jobs and it is due to Court's verdict's misinterpretation that the teachers were illegally terminated. With various legal quires by which the Dept could save 10323 teachers' livelihoods, the JMC held a meeting with the Education Secretary Saumya Gupta who reportedly assured the teachers to reply by 16th January but neither reply was given nor the Secretary or Director had met the teachers on the due date fueling further more resentments among the teachers.

Terminated 10323 Teachers who have continued their protest for 43 days long under 'Joint Movement Committee' from December 7, 2020, amid Tripura Govt's total negligence and denials to respond, now have reminded the State Govt how freedom fighter Bhagat Singh had to conduct bombing incident in the Central Assembly to "make the deaf to hear". This statement came before the 10323 teachers are preparing to stage protest in the Secretariat or a similar spot and to meet CM Biplab Deb by hook and crook who has forgotten his given promise to the 10323 teachers. Addressing the media, JMC's one member said, "It has been 43 days long that we are protesting but the Govt is so selfish that it is not even bothering for us. Don't forget Bhagat Singh also had to blast a bomb in the Assembly to make the deaf to hear. Our protest is still democratic and if anything happens in the coming days, for that Govt will be responsible because the Govt is testing our patience everyday".
