Tripura Education Minister cited his 'Childhood School Days' spent under 'Trees' after Journalist asked him about 'Gap in Infrastructure'

AGARTALA, Jan 7 (TIWN): Amid the increasing global competitions, unprecedented rise in uses of technologies, the 80's era school passed-out Tripura's Education Minister Ratanlal Nath has rubbished the importance of "Infrastructure", saying, teachers' potentialities are only needed for quality Education. The state Tripura which is yet much slower in internet speed and poor in network coverage, lacks of machineries and time to time updates to handle technological glitches, infact needs robust development in all sectors and students need their training in digitalization to compete with the increasing demands for web-connectivity, IT knowledge but these things are matters of farway for Tripura students, specially in the rural zones. Tripura's schools do not have even enough benches for students to sit, fans, lights and clean toilets but when asked by media, Education Minister has shown example how he used to study under open sky when he was a school student.

However, amid all these political dramas, Education Minister often says that Tripura is infact No-1 in Educational setups and ranks higher nationally in many aspects.
