AGARTALA, December 5 (TIWN): The “Administrative Block” and “Knowledge Park” of NIT Agartala will be inaugurated on December 9. Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is scheduled to dedicate the administrative block and the knowledge park of the institute to the service of the nation. NIT Agartala Register Sumanta Chakraborty informed media via a press release on Friday.

The administrative block consists of four different floors (G+3). The plinth area of the building is 2090 sqm. And floor area is 7338 sqm. The newly constructed building is equipped with all modern and technical facilities. Beside, the Knowledge Park had been constructed covering an area of 4106 sqm.

However, the inauguration programme will be held on December 9 at Visvesvaraya Auditorium Hall, NIT Agartala. Urban Development Minister will also remain present at the inaugural programme as a Guest of honour, along with other NIT officials.
