Theft, Robberies at Massive Rise in Tripura

AGARTALA, Jan 6 (TIWN): Theft incident took place at the office house of Ram Thakur Ashram in Teliamura subdivision as a group of thieves fled with gold ornaments, including 7,000 to 8,000 rupees in cash from temple’s office room. Similar theft cases are across the state.
According to the details of the incident, while temple members entered the office room saw thieves break cash box and flee away from back side of office room.There was festival at Ramthakur Ashram in Teliamura and centering this occasion theft cases occurred.
However, temple authorities initially speculated that behind the theft incident, drug-addicted youths in that area were involved. After getting information, Teliamura police rushed to the spot and started an investigation. Now it is to be seen Teliamura police will be capable to catch the group of thieves or not.
In robbery cases also, Tripura is going ahead. In broad-day light,huge numbers of robberies are reported in state. On yesterday, two women were attacked by robbers during morning walks and snatched their phones.
