AGARTALA, Jan 5 (TIWN): Factionalism and infighting have once again led the BJP to admit defeat in coming elections. Veteran BJP worker Pradip Sarkar, a resident og Gandachhera, who worked day and night for the party before Biplab Deb arrived in Tripura when BJP had just 4 or 5 members in the state, was attacked brutally by his own party members soon after BJP-IPFT cam into power.
Pradip alleged that the miscreants broke his rib bones, and made him severely injured. When Pradip went to seek help from MLAs and other party leaders, no one bothered about him because BJP already won the chair and do not need workers like Pradip anymore. Now when Pradip is lying on bed for 6-months, no representative felt the need to see him.
There is no doubt that rise in violence has become a major problem in the state in recent years. The ruling Govt. is not just attacking people from opposition parties but it is not leaving its own party members. Violence has become BJP’s tool to undermine their faults.
BJP’s infighting has cracked BJP’s all unity beyond repairing chances under self-obssessed Biplab Deb’s dictator regime and majority of MLAs and party members are now standing against Deb demanding his replacement.
