AGARTALA, Dec 30 (TIWN): 10323 teachers Joint Movement Committee's protest has fallen on Day 24 at Agartala City Centre.

The protest of the 10323 teachers had started on December 7 seeking Govt jobs and restoration of their previous jobs for an uncertain period of time.

But after 3 weeks of constant protest and spending nights and days under the open sky in the agitation spot, there is no call from the State Govt yet for discussion. Such attitudes from the State Govt has erupted massive resentment among the 10323 teachers.

The teachers have claimed that no Court had terminated them but the then Government had misinterpreted the verdict and terminated the 10323 teachers. 

BJP before election had promised to make continuation of the 10323 teachers jobs but after election victory, the BJP Govt has taken U-Turn from the exact promise and for last 10 months, the teachers are left jobless. So far 77 teachers among 10323 teachers have died.
