AGARTALA, Dec 28 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Monday has visited violence affected houses of Ramnagar along former Minister Banhulal Saha, MLA Sudhan Das and talked to the family members. Meeting the family members, Manik Sarkar extended Communist party's full support to the families. On being asked by media about the reason behind such increasing attacks of BJP on the Communist families, Sarkar said, "The more BJP is losing supports from the common men, more they are indulged in violence. We told them to fight with us politically. If we can conduct a rally with massive public support, why can't they conduct it although they are in power ? If their Govt is working so well, why can't they convince the people ? They tried but could not do anything as their all promises in the Vision Document remained unfulfilled". When media asked Manik Sarkar about police's role, he said, "Police are doing their jobs but not even basic duties they are accomplishing as police. Police are now like wooden dolls in party leaders' hands and after few days, they can't even show their faces to their children".

He further said, "In nowhere in the world Communist party could be destroyed and they can't destroy in future also".

Former Minister Bhanulal Saha said, "This is result after CM Biplab Deb's threat about he will destroy the Communist party in Tripura, but many tried to destroy the Communist party but failed to destroy".
