AGARTALA, Dec 28 (TIWN): Agitating 10323 Teachers under 'Joint Movement Committee' have accused the present BJP Govt for deaths of their 77 colleagues. One of the agitating teachers Bimal Saha said, "The previous Govt ofcourse did wrong but they are now being punished for that as people have unseated them from power but for now's deaths of teachers, the present Govt is fully responsible. It had promised to continue teachers jobs constitutionally". It can be mentioned here, after assuming power, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath to CM Biplab Deb continued to promise that 10323 teachers will be given alternative jobs and CM Biplab Deb on October month also sought 2 months time from teachers to save their livelihoods, but being a CM it did not ashamed him even after he could not fulfill his promise given to the teachers forced the teachers to start their protests from December 7.

On yesterday, Tripurainfoway.com Editor Saumen Sarkar while addressing in Facebook live said that BJP's debates on why 10323 teachers lost jobs, it is totally a different matter than what BJP promised  before 2018 election. The people in power had assured to solve 10323 teachers problems which meant they will end the uncertainty of the teachers but today for 10 months the teachers are left jobless. 

The 10323 teachers' uncertain futures started since High Court's verdict on 7th May, 2014 by the then Chief Justice. Although the Court gave certain options, but challenging the total order and not showing interest for negotiation, the State Govt under Left regime moved Supreme Court but after years of pending, Supreme Court upheld High Court's decision. The teachers are jobless today although nobody could alleged yet about any nexus between TRBT and Teachers recruitment but it was just error of recruitment process. However when Left Govt was arranging alternative jobs for 10323 teachers, the BJP as opposition turned the whole scene by assuring 10323 teachers that BJP Govt will continue 10323 teachers problems if BJP voted to power, but now amid BJP Govt's 33 months rule, nothing could be done for the teachers yet and the teachers are jobless for 9 months. In this condition, the 10323 Joint Movement Committee has started an agitation from December 7, 2020 for an indefinite period of time but after 22 days of passage, no Govt representative has met the teachers.
