AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): While addressing a press conference at the CPIM headquarters, CPIM State secretary said, “None of the promises made by the ruling Govt. before 2018 Assembly election have been fulfilled. Moreover, the present government has abolished the vacancies in government departments. And in the state where the unemployed are not getting paid for their work, the ruling party's activist supporters are reaching out for money”.He also alleged the central government for increasing petroleum products prices during pandemic. He added that many people from the lower-middle-class family have committed suicide for not being able to repay their loans under the debt pressure during COVID period. Not only CPI-M, even BJP MLAs also have raised voice against outsourcing jobs and fake data on employment generation along massive abolishment of vacant posts.

Addressing in Majlishpur rally, BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman has asked people to file RTI to know about CM Biplab Deb's data on 96,000 jobs and to get a name list.  Sudip Roy Bamran also said, he will get the bank loan takers names and how many youths have been benefited with loans, it has to be published also.

"We do politics not for personal gains but for public welfare. We are not afraid to speak truth and cheating people is not our intension. It is true that we have to fulfill Vision Document's promises but we should not say that 87% of the Vision Document is fulfilled. The people who say that 87% Vision Document is filled, they say it for their personal benefits", he said.  The statement came after CM Biplab Deb claimed recently that his Govt gave 96,000 jobs amid Tripura's unemployment problem is turning bigger and bigger. Massive corruption allegations are against CM Biplab Deb and also under Education Dept centering admissions, recruitments. Contract jobs are given even without interview which is totally illegal as per recruitment guidelines of the nation.
