AMARPUR/SILAICHARI, December 5 (TIWN): The number of deaths due to Malaria not yet stopped at Gandacherra sub-division till today. Now, the villagers of Silaichari Village area facing from another diseased namely Diarrhea.

At the same time SDMO started to provide training to ASHA and Anganwadi Workers on treatment of the diseases. On the other hand District administration is worried about the fatal diseases. The Health officials of the Sub Division are inactive. Sources said that the Silachari PHC is in deplorable condition since the setting up of the center.

Drinking water /power has not reached properly to tribal areas after 15 years of rule by CPIM. Health officials & Local  MLAs have no time to think about medical services in the hospital. On the other hand,  fund for construction of drinking water sources are being embezzled by party leaders. Many Diarrhea patients are coming from remote areas of silachari village.
