AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): Hanging body of a housewife (25 years) recovered from her father’s house, incident in Kulubari New Colony area under Sonamura PS.

According to the details of the incident, Pakhi Namah, (25 years) wife of Shimul Namah was found hanging from the stand of bed at her own house on Friday. The husband has been torturing his wife in a drunken state for a long time. Unable to bear the persecution, the bride moved to her father's house in Kulubari.

It came to know, on Friday while the incident had happened husband, Shimul Namah came to meet his wife Pakhi Namah, in absence of her family members.
Allegations were raised against husband, centering the housewife’s death. However, Shimul Namah absconded. After getting information Sonamura police came and rescued the dead body of the housewife and took her to Sonamura hospital for autopsy. Meanwhile, the police has started investigating the mysterious death.
