AGARTALA, Dec 24 (TIWN): Although Tripura Police has failed to trace a single kidnapper after kidnappers released 3 kidnapped men after 17 days from Bangladesh and Litan Nath is still missing from Damchara, Tripura CM Biplab Deb has told contractors that nobody can keep people of Tripura kidnapped for long.
CM Biplab Deb was addressing in a meeting with contractors and said if necessary, he will go in spot to rescue the kidnapped persons from kidnappers.
This statement came amid statewide massive criticism started over Home Dept's failed role to crackdown the kidnapped gang and various media reported that only after financial exchanges via sources, the kidnappers released them and they reached in BSF camp from Bangladesh. After 17 days of kidnapped, yesterday 3 persons were released by kidnappers sheltered in Bangladesh but another kidnapped man from Damchara Litan Nath is still missing.
Biplab Deb said today, "A group always wants to create scene and stop development and that's why it happened but now TSR deployment will be increased in sensitive areas".
