AGARTALA, Dec 24 (TIWN): Subhash Bhowmik, a resident of Udaipur sub-division, has returned from Bairi Dera to his home Gakulpur school after a long 17 days.
In a statement, Subhash Bhowmik said that on December 8, Subhash Bhowmik, Subal Debnath, and Ganpati Tipura were abducted from Gandachhara Sub-Divisional International Border while working in the DP Para area.

Finally, around 5:50 pm on Wednesday, December 23, BSF spotted three youths in the DP Para area of the Indo-Bangla border.
Subhash Babu said he did not know if any ransom had to be paid, although news reports claimed the different. He said, during those days, sometimes the food was given once or sometimes twice.
He also said that they had a team of ten people carrying guns took them to someplace in Bangladesh.
