AGARTALA, Dec 23 (TIWN): A TSR vehicle allegedly injured an elderly man severely on Teliamura National Highway . According to the details of the incident, After finishing the duty while TSR on the way back to the headquarters of the 6th Battalion at Khowai Ramchandra Ghat, this incident took place. The TSR jeep hit an elderly man, Pradip Dey. Following the incidents, angry locals were intercepted TSR jeep (TR01B1061) on the way.

After receiving the information, Teliamura fire brigade, and police rushed to the spot, and rescued the injured old man, and taken him to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital. The police arrested the driver Anuj Singh(TSR Jawan) and took him to the police station.

Now it remains to be seen what kind of action will be taken by the police of Teliamura police station against the TSR vehicle driver, Anuj Singh (TSR Jawan) who violated law by moving vehicles recklessly.
