AGARTALAM Dec 12 (TIWN): In a humanitarian gesture, the students of MBBS and passed out Doctors have organized a Free Medical Camp for the 10323 teachers at the Paradise Chowmuhani, where the 10323 teachers are protesting for 7 days long. Although Tripura Govt so far has displayed a 'heartless' Governance to the teachers pleas, amid it shamelessly begged votes before the 2018 election from the teachers and their families, now the large portion of the society is forwarding their helping hands to the agitating teachers. From businessmen to school students, all are gradually raising voice in support of the teachers. Today MBBS students, including passed out of TMC and AGMC students have come forward organizing a free medical camp for the teachers and their family who have joined the agitation.
Talking to the organizers of Health camp, they said that they are basically passed out Doctors and many teachers among these 10323 are their teachers who have contributions in their studies. So calling them "unqualified" is not acceptable to them. Moreover, for many days, the teachers are agitating in a same place, which has increased chances of falling heavily sick among them and thus as Doctors, it is their duty to give them minimum support.
