Without any Picketing and Rasta Roko, Tripura's Railway stations remained empty on Trade Unions' Strike Day

AGARTALA, Nov 26 (TIWN): As vehicle services remained almost paralyzed due to lack of passengers in Tripura due to Trade Unions called strike, Tripura BJP led State Govt has given strict order for the functioning of Govt offices, launched TRTC bus services from the morning for the Govt employees and others travels. But, no passenger was seen in those TRTC buses. Strike has paralyzed the transport system and markets, shops remained closed from early morning. Shuttered downed morning has welcomed capital city Agartala. The strike was called in demand of workers, farmers, unemployed people by central trade unions. When ten central trade unions, except Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, are observing the nationwide general strike to protest against various policies of the Centre, in Tripura state issues like justice for 10323 teachers were added.

Tripura is already undergoing tensions due to various strikes and protests followed by violence in North Tripura. Public area tensed over the circumstances evolved due to law and order issues.
