AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN): Martyred Fire Brigade Staff Biswajit Debbarma who has lost his life in Panisagar violence was paid floral tribute by colleagues, high officials at the Fire Brigade Headoffice Agartala. The most saddest part was that Biswajit Debbarma was not on duty but was going to home from Damchara, where he was posted. He was going to home on vacation. As per eye-witness people's claims, first he was gheraoed by the agitating public after a man was spot dead in firing although Biswajit Debbarma had no link with the firing. His colleague said that Biswajit Debbarma died at 11 PM on yesterday night at GB hospital who was referred from Dharmanagar, North Dist hospital. State Govt has announced Magisterial inquiry in the case. Another Civilian named Srikanta Das died in police firing. State Govt also has called probe in that firing case.

Tensions still prevails in North Tripura which started due to a movement started by 'Joint Movement Committee' over local issue and blocked national highway and clash with police erupted there, ended by firing and amid all these, road goer Biswajit Debbarma lost his life.

Tripura Police have warned the netizens not to spread communal tension instigated videos, said, "Panisagar Incident was Law and Order issue, not Communal".
