AGARTALA, Nov 17 (TIWN): Health Secretary JK Singha on Sunday in a meeting with unemployed Doctors has allegedly asked them to try for private practices as nothing can be assured about job recruitments. It has not only erupted resentments among the job aspirants but already hitting national media headlines.
Around 400 MBBS passed and more than 5000 nursing passed unemployed youths are roaming doors to doors in search of appointments with the Health Minister, who is none other than CM Biplab Deb.
But, unfortunately although CM Biplab Deb has time for all unimportant events but his statement is zero to the appeal of the Doctors, Nurses who are jobless.
Being bound, the unemployed Doctors recently met Health Secretary but surprisingly, he could not give any solution, rather asked them to think about alternatives.
50,000 Govt jobs in first one-year was BJP’s basic promise to win the election in 2018 but while voting the young voters in the state never imagined that it was a ‘Fake Promise’ and no job is waiting for them, rather recruitment will be stopped with notification stating ‘Tripura has more employees than need’.
In comparison to the previous Left era, the recruitment has downed above 80% and whatever recruitment is happening is contractual, unable to give a secure livelihood.
Doctors, teachers, engineers, nurses even NET, P.hd qualified people are left jobless in state but in last 2 and half years not even 5,000 permanent jobs could be given by the BJP Govt here. Unemployment as per surveys has turned as the biggest problem in the state.
