AGARTALA, Nov 6 (TIWN): On a shocking note, an youth was allegedly murdered and hanged from ceiling of an abandoned house. The incident occurred in Gabtali area of Kamala Sagar Constituency under Amtali PS.

Reportedly, the youth identified as Manik Sarkar (30) was missing from his home since yesterday night. On Thursday morning the local people informed family that his body is found hanging in an abandoned house far from his home. The family members alleged that someone murdered him and hanged his body there.

Amtali police rushed to place and recovered the body. His body is sent to hospital for autopsy report. The family filed an FIR in Amtali PS regarding the matter. Police started to investigate to know whether it's a murder or suicide.
