AGARTALA, Nov 1 (TIWN): Eventhough Tripura Police have taken legal action against netizens for sharing Video of a sexually harassed woman in Nischintapur, Agartala but question once again raises, will police and women commission act properly in politically pressurized cases unless there are roars of protests in social media, media ? Same happened in the gang-rape case of a 90 years woman, who was raped by 2 men on Astami night at her own home in Dasda, Kanchanpur. It has been reported that no action against anyone yet has been taken in this matter. Moreover, except few media, other media also did not highlight the issue much but in the rule of law these things should not matter much to take action against criminals.

Tripura Women Commission which claims itself a neutral sector but its deep silence over 90 years old woman's rape case has ashamed the state. Nobody has met the victim either from ruling party or the MLA and Women Commission also. 

One of the accused person has been named as : Anjan Nama.
