AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): In the COVID-19 suo moto case, Tripura High Court has sounded "unsatisfied" and further listed a date for hearing on 13th October asking Govt to take more needed actions. The Court has sought clarification in 'action taken' on various issues. In the order of Chief Justice it is said, "Few areas which require further examinations and response from the Govt broadly". Advocate Debalay Bhattacharjee said, "High Court has asked Tripura Govt for a further affidavit. Today, Court has pressed importance upon 4 issues. One matter is on, what is Govt's efforts for masks and social distancing ? Govt is asked to clarify it more clearly. Moreover, proper information was sought from Govt about the action taken on central team's report. It was asked what is the utilization of those defective PPE Kits and what is the status of defective PPE kits ? Fourthly, it was asked, how the level of testing can be increased, Govt must check the issue".
HC said, due to COVID tests down, the numbers of cases are at down but it should not send a wrong message to the society that COVID is over". High Court has asked Tripura Govt to increase the testing numbers and sought an affidavit in this regard.
